I usually mix 60-40 of distilled water and Propylenglycolm from the chemist (Propylenglykol brukes ved ketose hos storfe) as this gives a constant humidly of about around 70%. This a chemical that is mixed with the tobacco to keep it moist
I've read early here on the forum that you can make you own distilled water, yes, but I fined its better to buy from the chemist as making you own still contains minerals.
I have various cigars but my favourite is Cohiba Robustos , I like to enjoy my cigars in solitude. Duty free in Switzerland used to be a good place to purchase as mentioned Oslo Airport to.
I keep my cigars in a smallish wine cooler that is not plugged to the mains, with a piece of oases placed in a plastic container plus the 60-40 mix if still in their boxes, but if raped in cellophane they will not mature, if there's white fungus on them this called bloom which can be lightly brushed off.
Otherwise I have a Dunhill and Elie Bleu Humidor which was made at the time for Davidoff.
Cigar cutters, I have many including a Xikar, even a French 5 Francs that has been divided in two by a laser to be made into a cigar cutter, but the best of all is my Davidoff a round cutter that doesn't put any pressure on the outside of the cigar plus it has 3 different blade sizes to match the cigar you wish to enjoy, with the use of a storm lighter.
This should be helpful if my mind severs me right
