Our new NATO 2.0 has a thinner, but still a solid one-piece buckle pin. This allows us to have small round holes. Small holes look cool and round holes are stronger than rectangle holes. We've returned to 1.2mm thick seatbelt nylon. This thickness makes the strap less bulky than the normal 1.4mm and seatbelt nylon is super soft - and strong!
Seatbelt nylon is, as the name suggests, based on the same thin, tight weave that is used for seatbelts in cars. It feels super soft and it’s very flexible, along with being hard wearing and not fazed by water!
