Dont buy a watch with the idea of "passing it on" to your kids and grandkids. The chance they would really cherish it is very low. Most likely would sell the watch as soon as your in the grave. Dont believe me? Take a look at all the high quality antique watches on the market. Look on ebay for people's great granfather pocket watch, they are all there.
