Ryktene har gått lenge, nå bekreftes det langt på vei:

“From the brand perspective, if they find a watch has been flipped, they inform us. If we find out, we black list them. They will never be able to buy a watch from us again,” Mr Seddiqi revealed."

Spørsmål blir hvor lenge må du ha en klokke før du "får lov å selge"...

A waiting list is not a queue, in the conventional sense where the person who arrives first is served first and the person second in line will be served second.
A waiting list is simply a spreadsheet of customers’ spending habits and future desires. It is entirely discretionary on retailers to decide who gets which watch at what time.

Traceability ved hjelp av blockchain kan ha noe for seg for å få full transparancy på flippefenomenet. Transparancy pleier å hjelpe for å få bukt med uønsket adferd.
 
Tviler på at den såkalte «svartelistingen» vil ha noen som helst effekt på «flipperne» her på berget i et lite marked av ur i en relativt mye lavere prisklasse enn de nevnte high end Patek, Audemar, VC etc. IMHO.
