In addition to his work at Tidssonen, Jon Henrik is a contributor to the Norwegian watch and jewellery magazine Basic Klokker & Smykker, and Finansavisen Fashion (“The Norwegian Financial Daily”). Erik Sutterud is a regular contributor to Tidssonen.
Erik is a sound engineer turned watchmaker, and the owner of Urmaker Erik Sutterud in Oslo – an “old school” watchmaking business focusing on service, repairs, restoration and sales. He is a respected personality amongst Norwegian watch collectors and enthusiasts, noted for his technical knowledge and enthusiasm.
His interest in watches began in the early 90s, and ultimately brought him down the path of becoming an autodidact watchmaker. Erik appreciates a wide variety of timepieces – both vintage and modern – but has a slight leaning towards the “golden age of horology”.
Erik resides in Oslo with his wife and four children.
